Eleni Alexandropoulou was born and raised in Athens. Following a different path from the one defined by her dreams, she studied Electronic Engineering and with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, she initially pursued another career.
Through her own journey in self-awareness and self-development, she took the decision to make a change once again and start from scratch.
Nowadays, she is working as a Psychologist, after having completed her postgraduate studies (MSc) in the field of Child Psychology, in University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), in U.K. She has attended a number of additional training seminars on Child Psychology of schoolers, Developmental Psychology, Positive Psychology, Special Education and Parental Counseling.
She has also published two papers concerning Executive Functions in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and aggressive behavior in Social Media:
Regarding her clinical experience, she provides psychological support to children and adolescents with social and behavioral challenges, difficulties in managing emotions, anxiety disorders, ADHD, ASD, low self-esteem and learning disabilities. Additionally, she provides counseling to adults as well. Finally, she organizes various interactive psycho-educational seminars/workshops, whose target groups are: adults, parents and tutors.
She has also studied in a Drama School and till 2018, she took part in several performances. She has volunteered, since 2010, in Make A Wish Greece, and she is one of the founding members of Mentoria Greece, envisaging an education without limits.
The fairytale “entitled: “Where my heart belongs”?” is her first book, which has also won a second prize, in child literature, in a worldwide contest held in Cyprus.
Eleni is hoping to help people see things from a different angle and gain another aspect in their life.
